Many thanks to Green Kid Crafts for sending us a complimentary box to review!
Do you have children ages 3 to 8 that love arts, crafts and educational activities? If you haven’t yet heard of Green Kid Crafts….read on!
With award-winning Green Kid Crafts you can sign up to receive a fun box of eco-friendly crafts for your children each month. It will always contain at least 3 unique craft projects (designed by experts) and it will always be a surprise. When our box from Green Kid Crafts arrived, it was immediately opened and everyone crowded around for a look!
Our box contained three kits: Sun Prints, Naturalist and Pine Cone Bird Feeder. I really liked that each was completely unique and focused on a different theme or skill. Because Catherine (age 9) is very artistic, she asked to do the Sun Prints kit.
Everything you need is included in the kit, so we got started right away. Instructions were very simple and the project took just a few minutes to complete. It was so nice to work together with Catherine and watch her choose the leaves and grasses that she wanted to work with.
Here is her completed sun print (the frame was included in the kit). It’s so pretty that I am going to hang it in my kitchen, which is full of blue and white willow dishes.
Five year old Benjamin got to complete the Naturalist Kit. He enjoyed collecting samples in his specimen bag and then arranging them on the outside of his cardboard journal. Together we picked a title which I wrote on the front. The result is lovely and it’s all ready to fill with his thoughts and discoveries! I’m saving the Pine Cone Bird Feeder for Benjamin to work on when the weather turns colder and our feathered friends will be on the lookout for treats.
If you’re curious what a typical box might look like, their website has a “Look Inside” feature. Plus, you can sign up for the newsletter and receive news and free project ideas in your inbox.

Green Kid Crafts offers four different subscription terms so you can pick what fits you best. And they have special savings for siblings as well. To save the most money, their 12-month term is just $16.95 per month. Since my family has had a chance to personally review a Green Kid Crafts box, I’d say that’s a great price! Plus, subscribers also receive FREE a Green Kid Activity Guide, which contains over twenty pages of activity ideas, games, puzzles and more. Each Activity Guide follows the monthly theme so everything ties together.
You can purchase a subscription for your family, or as a gift, and it always includes FREE shipping. Here’s how to follow the fun at Green Kid Crafts:
