Product Reviews

Blog reviews are a great way to get the word out on your unique product or service. Mothers rely heavily upon online reviews before shopping for their families. I love to try things out and share my feedback with readers so they can make more informed decisions. Adding giveaways to my reviews adds some extra fun, generates more overall interest and lets one lucky reader try your product for free!

You can be sure my review will be honest and thorough, as well as professionally written and appealing to my readers. I’ll share my real-life experiences and include lots of high-quality photos. Sponsors will always be provided a draft of the review before it goes live. Here’s an example of a recent giveaway to give you an idea of what the final result might look like.

My Readership

The majority of my readers are mothers, just like me. They are balancing home, work and child-rearing, and they have a wide variety of interests like cloth diapering, cooking, home schooling, health & wellness and fashion.

*Depending on the product you are sending for review, here is some information about my family you might find helpful. My 2 oldest are a boy and girl ages 9 and 8. Then there’s a 4 year old boy and a 2 year old boy (he’s 26 lbs and is cloth diapered). Finally, bringing up the rear is baby girl who is 8 months and 16 pounds and also in cloth.

Reviews + Giveaways

For giveaways, I will also need a photo of the item to be given away as well as its approximate retail value. I will post all necessary information, host the giveaway, and chose a winner using Random.Org. Then, I will get in touch with you about the winner so you can send their prize! (It must be sent out within 20 days). You may choose to run your giveaway for 10 days or 14 days.

Giveaway Policies:

1. Sponsor must provide a complimentary product or service (non-returnable) for me to review

2. Giveaways begin the day the review is posted

3. Giveaways can be either 10 or 14 days, at the sponsor’s discretion

4. Rafflecopter is used as the official entry form and I will post the standard sweepstakes disclaimers

5. Sponsor assumes all responsibility for prize fulfillment and therefore chooses if sweepstakes will be open to US/Canada or US only

6. Per FTC guidelines, making a purchase cannot be included as an extra sweepstakes entry

7. Per Facebook guidelines, I cannot ask readers to “take action on Facebook” such as posting comments on your wall, liking a photo or status, etc. However, liking your Facebook page is an acceptable and legal entry

8. If I have an issue with a product or service, I always contact you first to discuss and remedy. I do not post negative reviews on my blog. Why? Well first of all, I love to spotlight quality products that will be useful to my readers. There are other useful websites out there that let consumers know what not to buy. My blog is not one of them. Secondly, around here we believe in the golden rule “Do unto others….” I feel it is just and right to allow a business or WAHM to be notified of a problem and then have an opportunity to fix it, especially because sometimes the problem might be my fault (i.e. if I’m using the product incorrectly).
