Note: This review was updated in 2016 This post contains affiliate links. When Nicki (the owner of Nicki's Diapers) created Best Bottom Diapers, she strived to combine all the best features of different diapers into one great system. Measuring too Small? The Ultrasound Answer

August 10, 2012 by Anne Marie 2 Comments

There was some concern about my due date because I measured small at my last appointment. By my cycles (which are extremely regular), I was 18 weeks along, but my uterus measured 14 weeks. I was a little bit worried that something might be wrong with the baby's growth, or that my due date was going to get pushed up another month. Kawaii One-Size Diaper Cover Review

August 9, 2012 by Anne Marie 67 Comments

And even though I do a lot of cloth diapering, I know that even that experience is very different from a mother of two centuries ago in America. Because I love history (my major in college) it seemed like a fun idea to take a trip down memory lane and peek in on the ladies of yesteryear as they cared for their babies' most basic Continue Reading

So You Think You Can’t Homeschool?

August 6, 2012 by Anne Marie 7 Comments

Wishing you could pull your child out of public school this year? There are plenty of good reasons for parents to be fed up with system! Mask mandates Vaccine mandates Progressive/politically radical curricula Violence, and/or bullying and and/or other safety concerns Failing schools And the list goes on. But while the spirit may be willing, many parents feel defeated from the get-go. I've heard this a lot over the years: 'I'd love to homeschool, but..." (insert reason Continue Reading
