Share the Love – Started by Cotton Babies (makers of bumGenius and Flip), Share the Love host sites are located all through the US. Each site is run by a volunteer who coordinates all outreach, including cloth diaper collection, loans and distribution.
Cloth for a Cause – Helps families in need by refurbishing used diapers to make complete diaper sets available on loan. There are chapters located throughout Canada.
Jake’s Diapers – Founded in 2011 and inspired by a mission trip to Peru, Jake’s is a faith-based initiative that aims to provided the neediest of children around the world with reusable diapers. USA residents can fill out a diaper application here.
Agape – Based in Pennsylvania, this faith-based initiative has a special cloth diaper program called KidsCare Go Green, which provides a free and complete kit to qualifying families.
2 Diapers 2 Share – Faith-based ministry in North Carolina which loans out diaper kits on a case by case basis in the Halifax, Warren and Vance areas. Assistance is provided through a Facebook group.
Cloth for Everybum – A cloth diaper lending program for families across the US. They teach kit recipients how to use and care for the cloth diapers provided. Each kit is on loan for 6 months.
Cloth Option – A collective of advocates who came together after the demise of Rebecca Foundation, The Cloth Option is headquartered in Massachusetts, and provides free newborn and one-size diaper starter stashes to eligible families in need.
BabyCycle – Florida diaper bank providing kits to families on government assistance in Pinellas County. You will need to inquire about whether cloth diapers are being currently lent.
The Natural Mama Me – Founded in 2011, this initiative distributes cloth diapers to needy families in the greater Detroit area.
Diaper Bank of the Ozarks – Provides cloth diaper loans to qualifying families, as well as frugal cloth diapering education.
Help a Mother Out – San Francisco diaper bank that distributes both disposable and cloth (pocket) diapers.
PDX Diaper Bank – Portland, Oregon diaper bank that distributes cloth and disposable diapers to organizations and directly to families.
Free Diaper – Founded in 2016 to provide free birth-to-potty training cloth diaper diaper kits to needy families
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Kits – provide low income families in Randolph County North Carolina and surrounding counties with FREE cloth diapers, loaned in a partnership with the local WIC program.
Messy Moments Ministry – Faith-based cloth diaper lending bank in Michigan. Offers complete sets, on loan, free of charge.
Cover Your Bum – Based out of Springfield, Missouri, Cover Your Bum is run by two WIC-employed mothers and loans cloth diapers to families in need of a little extra support.
Children’s Diaper Bank – Virginia initiative which provides free cloth or disposable diapers to pregnant women within two weeks of due date through three years old. There are no income eligibility requirements. Open to all Virginia residents.
Battle Bumms – Founded in 2012 by a military family and based out of Tacoma, Washington. Battle Bumms provides kits to active military duty families who are not currently using cloth and meet WIC income guidelines.
Giving Diapers, Giving Hope – Founded in 2011, GDGH is a non-profit organization that provides education, support and cloth diapers to low income families in the continental United States. Closed its doors November 30, 2018; may take on a willing shipping partner in 2019, but future is currently undecided.
