What could be more fun for a cloth diapering mother than to receive a surprise package full of fluffy products to sample at a discounted price? This is just one kind of “bundle” that you can get from a great place called Bundles and Buzz! They also offer themed bundles like “The Baby Bundle” and the “Toddler Bundle” and even the “Super Duper Back to School Bundle.” Each is priced between $30 to $40 and is filled with products, samples and coupons from companies who want to introduce their brand to families just like yours.
We were sent the “Cloth Bundle” to review! Here’s everything that we received, all bundled up in a beautiful purple and pink Envirosax reusable bag:

My favorite item in the Cloth Bundle is definitely the minky Giggle Life diaper!
It fits great, is super soft and the two bamboo inserts soak up a lot of wetness for nap times and overnight. I like that the pocket is generously sized for easy stuffing and that the inserts are made of natural fibers. The Giggle Life diaper also makes a nice and cozy cover with our Flip organic inserts and bamboo prefolds.
The Funky Fluff wet bag is so ingenious; it has two separate compartments, and each closes with a zipper. You can keep dirty diapers in one and dirty clothes in the other. What a great idea!
Here’s a close-up of the cute hair clip from Blushing Daisy Designs, the Maple Hill Dryer Ball and the Scarlet’s Naturals sample:
Wool dryer balls can be a great alternative to traditional dryer sheets. They are completely re-usable (most mothers just leave them in the dryer indefinitely) and unscented and help to cut down on drying time and fluff your laundry. Scarlet’s Hiney Honey Quick Stick is a nice, clean way to apply a cloth-diaper safe ointment because you don’t have to rub it on your fingers. And as for the pretty flower clip, I let my daughter Catherine try it out. One of the petals on the flower curled up, and I’m not sure how to make it stay flat (low iron, maybe?), but other than that I think it’s really pretty and easy to use!
We’ve enjoyed everything in our bundle, except for the SoftCup sample, which I can’t use right now since I’m expecting a baby. But I’ll keep it on hand for the postpartum period. And although the hair clip didn’t fit in with the cloth diaper theme, it was still appreciated.
I can definitely see what makes Bundles and Buzz so popular – it’s the fun of opening a surprise package full of items that revolve around a certain theme. What a great way to try some products that you might be curious about or may not otherwise have sampled! Sometimes, to add to the fun, Bundles and Buzz will post hints on their Facebook page, but you really don’t know what awaits you until you open your mail. One of the best ways to receive notification when new bundles are available, is to sign up for the Bundles and Buzz newsletter (left hand side of homepage). You have to be quick – the bundles go fast!!
